Olio Extra Vergine Oliva d'Altesi
Two hectares of the estate are planted with olive trees. The orchards, at 300 m above sea level, are planted with different varieties of olive trees including Leccino and Frantoio. The olives are picked by hand during the month of November, usually between the 10th and 30th, depending on the season, and pressed the day after harvesting. The resulting extra virgin oil is green with golden yellow highlights, with an intense aroma of foliage, artichoke and wild cardoon. Flavour is harmonious and balanced, containing hints of sweet almond.
