The wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese di Montalcino grapes. Following a fermentation period with partial carbonic maceration, the wine is transferred to Allier barriques where it refines for 12-14 months. It has an intense ruby red colour, a full-bodied bouquet with hints of berries and toasting. It has a pure, clean taste and is well-structured with all the softness of rich aromatic persistence.
